In a powerful three-day event across northern Benin, over 1,000 teenagers gathered for an unforgettable experience. The Dream and Dare days were organized by UEEB Church as part of its annual Teenagers Camp.

The event unfolded across three different locations:
May 27 – Banikoara
May 28 – Bembèrèkè
May 29 – Sinendé
Each stop was filled with laughter, learning, and life-changing conversations.
Purpose and Vision
The core mission of The Dream and Dare Days was to equip teenagers with a strong, Christ-centered understanding of their identity, belonging, and purpose. A particular emphasis was placed on helping them understand how to safeguard their bodies and form healthy, respectful friendships.
Beyond the teens themselves, the program also aimed to:
Introduce church leaders to the Dignity Campaign curriculum.
Prepare leaders for future training as part of a larger discipleship and leadership series.
This wasn’t a one-time event—it marked the beginning of a long-term initiative.
Who Attended
The event welcomed 1,090 teens, ages 13 to 17, from various educational backgrounds—including non-schooled, primary, and secondary school students.
Here’s how attendance broke down:
Banikoara: 141 girls, 92 boys
Bembèrèkè: 344 girls, 215 boys
Sinendé: 190 girls, 108 boys
Adult mentors and youth leaders were also present, offering guidance, support, and facilitating key discussions.
Activities and Highlights
Both boys and girls participated in sessions tailored to their needs:
For Girls:
Identity
Belonging
Purpose
Understanding My Body
For Boys:
Identity
Belonging
Purpose
Sexuality
Pornography
Fun and games were mixed in throughout to create a relaxed and engaging atmosphere.
Two especially memorable moments stood out:
The Balloon-Breaking Icebreaker: A deeply emotional moment where girls shared life experiences and asked heartfelt questions.
Boys’ Session on Masculinity: Many young men opened up during discussions about what it means to be a “real man” in Christ.
Teens described the event as a rare and valuable opportunity to talk about taboo topics—openly and honestly.
Many girls expressed a newfound understanding of their bodies and recognized that their value comes from God, the Creator.
The boys were deeply impacted by lessons on identity and sexuality. Several admitted to watching inappropriate content and, through the session, realized its negative influence on their lives.
The approach—both simple and impactful—left a lasting impression on teen leaders. Some girls were moved to tears, and even returned during lunch breaks to seek prayer and support. Leaders took the time to listen, pray, and share contact information to continue the conversation beyond the event.
This marks the first step in a larger series that includes:
Dream & Dare Days
Leader Training
Ongoing Discipleship Programs
Through continued mentorship and structured follow-ups, UEEB Church is investing in a future generation that knows who they are in Christ—and how to live with dignity and purpose.
