Empowering Change in Limpopo: Our February 2026 Facilitator Training

We were in Polokwane, Limpopo, with 19 passionate individuals to run The Dignity Campaign’s first one-day Facilitator Training.

A Day of Learning, Sharing, and Growing
Guided by our experienced facilitators, Emlyn and Crystal, the participants dived into the 1-day and 12-week discipleship programs. The atmosphere was lively, questions flowed freely, stories were shared, and ideas sparked new ways to bring the program into schools, churches, and community spaces.
What stood out most was the approach: teaching teens without forcing faith upon them. This resonated deeply with the group, and many shared that they felt confident and inspired to create meaningful conversations and lasting impact.
By the end of the day, the group wasn’t just trained, they had become a supportive network. A WhatsApp group was created so facilitators could stay connected, share experiences, and continue mentoring one another as they stepped into their new roles.
A Few Surprises Along the Way
Of course, no story is complete without a little twist. On the day, several walk-in participants arrived, bringing our number up to 19, more than initially expected! While this was wonderful, it did mean there wasn’t quite enough food for everyone, and the facilitators realized that having a third helper would make future sessions even smoother.
Even with these small challenges, the energy and excitement in the room never wavered.
Voices from the Day
The impact of the training was clear in the words of our participants:
“It was life changing and impacted me in a positive way. I already can’t wait to start facilitating and transforming the lives of young girls.”
“I learnt a lot and I am ready to teach the teenagers; I am so grateful for this programme. I wanted this for a long time but didn’t know where to get it.”
“The program was awesome. I would like to attend the mentorship program soon. Thank you and may God continue to bless you and your family.”
Looking Ahead
With 19 newly trained facilitators now ready to go, the Dignity Campaign is excited to see the ripple effect in Limpopo communities. What started as a small training has now grown into a network of individuals committed to mentoring and guiding teens in a positive, faith-informed way.
