Building Belonging Through the Beautiful Game

Nancefield Baptist Church hosted the second session of the DARE Discipleship Program with teenagers from Cavendish Primary School, focusing on the powerful theme of BELONGING.

The session was filled with energy, laughter, and meaningful conversations as we explored what it means to belong, to a team, to a community, and ultimately to God’s family. To make the lesson engaging and relatable, they incorporated the excitement surrounding the upcoming 2026 FIFA World Cup into the activities and discussions.

Using football as a bridge, the boys learned how every player has a role, every team depends on unity, and everyone matters. Just like in the World Cup, where players from different backgrounds come together with one purpose.

The boys absolutely loved the World Cup theme. From team-based challenges to interactive discussions, the atmosphere was vibrant and full of enthusiasm.
