We had an incredible time at Westbank High School running a Dream and Dare Day with the Matric Class of 2026!
On a sunny Saturday, 29 boys and 66 girls joined us, bringing energy, curiosity, and enthusiasm. We were thrilled to work with older teens and excited to have some newly trained facilitators join us to learn how to run the day program.

The day was packed with fun, engaging activities, and meaningful discussions. Students were curious, asked thoughtful questions, and fully embraced the experience.
Students shared that they learned so much, from understanding their bodies and setting boundaries to exploring their dreams and life purpose. They loved the interactive sessions, the encouragement they received, and the space to build confidence and embrace their uniqueness. It was inspiring to see how the program combined learning, personal growth, and fun, leaving everyone motivated and empowered.
Here’s what some of the students had to say:
“I learned a lot about my body and how to set boundaries.”
“The program made me feel comfortable enough to ask questions.”
“It teaches us about real things we go through every day.”
“I now understand that I have a purpose and that my dreams matter.”
“Everything was explained in a simple way that I could understand.”
“It was fun and educational at the same time.”
“I feel encouraged to be myself and respect my dignity.”
“I learned things I didn’t know before, and it inspired me to dream.”
“The activities and games made it really enjoyable.”
“It helped me understand what it means to be a better person.”
Our Dream and Dare Day at Westbank High School was truly inspiring, and we can’t wait to bring this experience to even more students in the future!
