Exciting Days Ahead in Benin

We’d love to share a little update with you from UEEB, our partners in Benin.

It began with a Vision Casting session for facilitators, both women and men. This gathering was a beautiful time of coming together, catching the heart of the Dignity work, and preparing minds and hearts for what lies ahead. It was more than just a training, it was a chance to pause, to dream, and to commit to walking this journey side by side.

Afterward, each team dove into their Dream & Dare Day Books. These resources gave structure and inspiration as they planned out the activities they would use with the teenagers. The room was buzzing with energy and creativity, ideas flowed freely, and there was such joy in watching the plans come together. Everyone was eager to see how their preparation would impact the young people they were about to meet.

Then came the highlight: our Dream & Dare Day with teenagers! It was a day of sharing, listening, and creating space for the young people to dream about their future and dare to take steps toward it. We laughed together, learned together, and encouraged one another. The teenagers were not only participants, but active voices in shaping the conversations. It was inspiring to see their eyes light up as they began to realise that their dreams are valuable and possible.

Our deepest hope is that this will not just be another event, but the beginning of a true process of transformation. We believe that as these young people are encouraged and equipped, they will carry courage and vision into their schools, families, and communities.
