Hello from Madagascar

ree

Here's an update from Mercy Ministries, our Partners in Madagascar!

We’ve just wrapped up a wonderful training for Dignity facilitators in Tamatave, and our hearts are full. It was a full day of learning together about how to organise a Dream Day, and we were so encouraged by the women who came.

In total, 15 women from 5 different organisations and churches joined us. Many of them came in small groups of three or four from the same organisation or church, something that will be such a strength when they go back home and begin putting the training into practice. They won’t be walking this road alone!

What struck us most was the feedback from the women themselves. One shared that the training gave her “a different perspective on girls’ education,” while another said it was “enriching, with lots of new information, and the different activities were so interesting.”

Several admitted that they learned things they had never known before. One participant even said the day “helped me get back on my feet and made my dream achievable.” Others left inspired to use their new knowledge to contribute to the education of young girls in their churches and communities.

Hearing these reflections reminded us why this work matters so much. It’s not just about information; it’s about hope, encouragement, and equipping women to dream big and make a difference for the next generation.

We are deeply grateful for your prayers and support. Together, we are helping to bring dignity, hope, and opportunity to girls in Madagascar and that truly is something worth celebrating!
