For Jemima, joining the programme marked the beginning of a journey of discovery, friendship, and faith. Coming from a Muslim family, she was encouraged and supported by her family to take part, giving her the opportunity to explore something completely new.

Before joining the programme, Jemima had never read the Bible. Curious to learn more, she approached each mentoring session with an open mind, bringing thoughtful questions and a genuine desire to understand what she was reading. Her eagerness to learn sparked meaningful conversations with her mentor and laid the foundation for significant personal growth.

As the months went by, Jemima became noticeably more confident. One of the things she treasured most was the opportunity to build friendships with people she might never have met otherwise. Through shared experiences, conversations, and encouragement, she found a welcoming community where she felt accepted and valued.

Champion Camp became a defining moment in her journey. As she spent time journalling through the Psalms and reading the story of Esther, Jemima encountered God's love in a deeply personal way. These moments of reflection helped her see faith in a new light and left a lasting impression on her heart.

By the end of camp, Jemima didn't want to leave. What had started as a new experience had become a place where she felt a true sense of belonging, joy, and hope. The friendships she formed, the questions she explored, and the faith she encountered made Champion Camp an experience she will never forget.
