Welcoming New Dream Facilitators and Empowering Girls

Last week was an exciting step forward with our partners at Seeds of Dignity. They hosted a powerful training session and welcomed 7 new, motivated Dream Facilitators.

What’s even more encouraging is that many of them are eager to use the Dignity materials specifically in activities with girls in their community. And the momentum didn’t stop there…

This past Wednesday, they held a Dream Day for about 15–18 girls, guided by 4–5 of the new facilitators. It’s always a mix of nerves and anticipation when implementing activities for the first time, especially in a new language context, but the passion to reach and empower these girls made it all worth it.

Three of the new facilitators from this very community stepped up, leading sessions for the first time and they did an amazing job! The girls were engaged and participated well, though after 12:30 pm, their attention started to wane (as can happen after a full morning!). Still, they enjoyed the time, and the day was a success overall.

Perhaps the most exciting outcome? One of the local leaders is interested in starting the Cherish Dream program with these girls. That’s a beautiful sign of sustainability and ownership within the community.

We’re thrilled to see these seeds of dignity taking root and look forward to watching them grow.
